12 Year Old Tea

I've been very interesting in cleansing this past year. Cleansing the heart, the mind, and the body. In order to cleanse the body I've done periodic fasts and broke myself from my caffeine addiction (much to Corinnea's chagrin...). I found this tea at the commissary and bought it to see if it was any good. Bear in mind, I hate tea. So anyway I made a cup today and when Rob came home he went crazy! "Where did you find that? Do you know how long I've been searching for THIS tea?" I'm tea stupid so I'm like, ok whatever I just picked it up at the store.

Well, he was serious about liking this tea. He discovered it here in Germany twelve years ago and still had a suvenier box! So here's to twelve years of Yogi tea! :)

And here's my Project 365 page from last week, finally completed.
Oh, PS. I made Rob prepare my tea and I'm actually enjoying it! Can you believe it?!? Who knew sugar and milk would make tea drinkable! Haha! Sorry to all you tea lovers who are cursing me right now! :)

Another Lucky in Love Page

Luck of the Irish: Create a page with elements you recolor to green. I colored the rhinestones green. I wanted to do a page about my birthday, which is in May (emerald), but I don't have any photos from my birthdays. So... this is as good as it was going to get.

Project 365, Week 7

Loving my crockpot

I realized a couple of weeks ago I can do low carb AND crockpot! Made this tonight. Rasberry Vinaigrette is YUMMY! I also came across some cool recipe cards in my digi surfing the other day and thought it would be fun to put together a cook book with my BoBunny Bare Naked Binder. I can't remember where I saw the recipe cards, but I made this one with supplies from the DSM CD The Garden. Anyone got any good crock pot recipes and want to play with me?

No pictures to post

What an insane day. Trouble with the school bus... fighting with the Pazzle... boring forms to fill out for work... "upgrades" to our point of sale computers that actually make it HARDER to do our jobs... paper jams... usb sticks that didn't work in the Luci kiosk... kids screaming... waaaaaaaaa!!! It was a bizarre day. But at the end of it, Haven got to school, I finally got the Pazzle to work! (more on that tomorrow when I have pictures), the paper got unjammed, I got the usb sticks to work in the kiosk AND upgraded the color profiles (so the print quality should be better now), kids are in bed...... and it's only midnight. So... 7 hours till we do it again! Hahaha!

Pasta Puttanesca

That's Italian for "very few ingredients" you know. According to Lemony Snicket, anyway. If you look on Wikipedia you'll get a very different definition.........

So, I thought I would be making one dish for dinner until I got home and realized I was missing a crucial ingredient. So I took inventory of what I had:

Leftover steak
Canned tomatos
Creme Fraiche (like heavy cream but really thick)
Pasta

After adding some garlic, basil, oregeno, and salt I ended up with a REALLY YUMMY sauce for the pasta. I cut up the leftover steak and warmed it in a skillet and threw it in. Everyone loved it!

Spiderman, spiderman...

does whatever a spider can...

Check this out! I was very surprised this morning when Corinnea walked in with a handful of Spiderman fabric. Even more surprised when she unfolded it into this adorable handmade hoodie! And even MORE surprised when she said she made it for Ethan!!! He's so proud!

This picture shows his new "cover model" pose. It's the chin down, eyes up, funky smile pose. It's SOOO funny! All the photos are now him posing for a couple of times and then running away! Boys!
