Don't try this at home....

Warning! This post may cause sympathy pain!

My friend Alexandra sells Mary Kay, does magnet therapy, and (who knew) will go to your house and do piercing. So....

Yes, I'm this crazy....

Don't look up my nose... And voila! One pierced nose.
I'll spare you the details.

  1. did it hurt? Mine didn't hurt until the guy pushed the jewelry through and I was like, "Ok! Stop!" lol... My fave part? Having to soak my nose in salt water to keep it clean! Did she tell you to do that? It's cute!

  3. Sasha, yeah that was my experience too. The needle wasn't that bad but the stud HURT!!!! She gave me an antiseptic but Hannah told me about the salt water so I'm doing that too. :)

  5. I meant to tell you that mine got infected and I eventually had to take it out and let it heal/close. So keep it clean! I had mine done professionally and it hurt like a mo fo! But I think it hurt less than yours. The girl used the
gi-gantor needle and the tube. The worst part was the needle going through (it made the one eye water bad) but putting the piercing in didn't hurt like you said yours did. That was back in 1991..so I don't remember a lot. But I have photos! I do remember that the swirly piercing can look like you have a booger if it turns and the point sticks out. So get it tightened (I never did)!

  9. very cool, I went with my sister to get her nose pieced... wasn't so bad, but she says it just took a LONG time to heal. Keep a lot of sea salt around! Looks good!
